Now That Christmas

Now that Christmas is past, it’s time to shake off the cobwebs and ge back down to business.

Youth Football Scotland Petition

Even though the teams will be resting over the next few weeks, there’s still plenty going on in the world of youth football. We have a new petition up and running, do you think Under 19′s and 21′s teams should be allowed to use up to 5 substitutes in a game? (click here to put down your name).

Despite losing the game to an unbeaten Calderbraes side Coaches John,Paul and Stephen
cant give our boys enough praise for a superb display of football which was also applauded
by Calderbraes coaches and spectators.Keeping up the hard work in training and the same
level of performance in games results will turn for the better.Well done boys and to Calderbraes
for some excellent finishing being the difference between the teams.

2001′s Are Looking For New Talent

Mossend FC 2001?s are looking to open our doors to offer a period of football training by our experienced coaches.

No experience is required but would be helpful.

Well there was not to many games played this weekend. HOWEVER…..

Young Ryan from the 2002′s recently took a trip to see Man City take on Aston Villa.

Ryan just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped make this a day that he will never forget.

99′s

Mossend FC   4     ClaremontAFC   3   (Scorers :Mark McMillan, Robbie Irvine, Craig Lees & Jordan McAleese)
A poor first half performance by the boys saw us trail 3-1 at one point in the first half
only to pull  one back just before half-time to trail 3-2.A much improved second half
performance saw us turn the game around and record a fine 4-3 victory against a good
Claremont side.Well done to the boys keep up the hard work.

97′s
The 97′s had a day off so they had a friendly instead. They took on the might of YETT FARM . We are very pleased to announce that our 97′s won 3-2 , scorers MICHAEL HOUSTON , CHRISSY MCCLUSKEY (2)
