History
Mossend FC 2001 was started on Feb 2007 by the Mossend FC Academy Coach (Big Grahame) with the current coaches originally as helpers and then officially taking the mantle by Aug 2007.
Initial Season 2007/2008 Mossend FC 2001 participated in the SFA Fun Four’s game structure.
Season 2008/2009 Mossend FC 2001 joined the LFDA league participating in the Soccer Sevens game structure.
Circular badge to be different from the St Andrew’s & Morrison’s Man badges.
Mossend – Associates area where the team is from and takes recognition of the name changes throughout the years, Boys Guild to Boys Club to Football Club
1963 - Year Mossend team was established (not Fottball Club or others) link to the past.
M – Taken from the Morrison’s Man badge and moved away from associated image of the foodstore.
F – Football not the only thing that the club does and as such is smaller than the M.
C – The Club holds everything together and is more important than everything else.
MFC – Mossend Football Club
St Andrews cross our national flag protects the club.
Yellow and Black stripes as the club identifier at the heart of the badge and club.
Squint or look at the badge from a distance and the football image can be seen.
Turn the badge through 90 degrees and it could be an abstract thistle.
